Therefore, Manchu and Japan embraced traditional Han Chinese Confucianism. Confucianism taught everyone to behave in a respectful manner and according to the requirement of the situation. It said that if everyone followed their own duties and responsibilities then there will be stability and peace in the city. According to the theory, everyone should know their place in hierarchical order and act accordingly.
